My grandparents went to Homosassa Springs every year, but I have to admit that that was when I was a wee, little one. I had in fact forgotten about this beautiful resort town until I glanced across Google Maps the other day. Hey! Look! Homosassa! It’s not far from Ocala! And voila: TripAdvisor.com even has suggestions on places to stay there if you thought a mini-vacation was in order. And honestly, who doesn’t think mini-vacations aren’t in order, with today’s stresses? I may just head over there as soon as the pumpkin pie is digested.
