Get into summer reading fun at a Marion Country Library!

I can’t get my nose out of my first Steven King series when I have the free time to read. I will admit that once I finally finished school, it was good riddance to books for a long time. I think the thought of reading at all was drowned out by the memory of textbook lectures. However, when you can actually choose the book you want to read, it can be quite hard to put it down!

Summertime is the perfect season to discover all that’s written on the pages of books on your To-Read list. Not sure what to add on your reading list? The Marion County Public Library System has put many library and reading programs in place to help you with that part!

Between June 11 and July 29, reading isn’t just going to fun; it’ll be rewarding! Check out books, movies, and other library materials for chance to win prizes during the drawing on the last day of the Summer Reading Program. Also check out the endless fun and programs going on around the county and in Ocala all summer long by taking a peek at the Summer 2011 issue of “Words.”

So before you head to the swimming pool or relax on your apartment patio, grab a few good books and indulge in a summer of great stories!
